Hello friends, family, and supporters of Vital!  

Happy 2024, we hope the year is off to a great start for you!  

The following is an update from Vital co-founder, David Gull announcing his transition into an advisor role, and the promotion of Matt Monday to CEO.

Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Matt Monday, who many of you have already spoken with or met in person.  From the moment he joined, I’ve been impressed with his care and conviction for what Andrey and myself (originally Ogimi, now Vital) had built over 2023.  We made a decision pretty early on that Matt would lead investor pitches, as well as co-lead with myself in crafting the strategy for the company.

By December, it had become clear to me that the company would be in the best position if Matt were to fully take the helm.  His experience in consumer tech (going all the way back to 2008 at Apple), especially given his early work on digital coaching (starting in 2018) really underscores the incredible alignment he has with not only what has already been built, but perhaps even more importantly, what is yet to be built over the coming month and years.

So this update is to let you know that we have officially offered Matt the CEO role of Vital and, at the same time, I will be moving to a board and advisor position.  I feel great about this decision and could not be more excited for what’s to come.
