What is prompting?

A prompt is telling the AI engine what matters to you the most, what you want to focus on. Vital crafts a meditation based on the collective human consciousness that has been input to the engine.


The engine is a science, and your prompt makes the Vital experience an art.


Specific Prompts

We have space for you to write whatever you need guidance with in the moment. The more specific you get, the more Vital can give you personalized guidance. You can treat the prompt space like a journal entry. Give the names of the people you're in a relationship in, the environment you're meditating in, even what you're holding in your hands.


Suggested Prompting

  • Sleep Story: Use narrated stories with soothing tones to help lull you into a restful sleep

  • Loving-Kindness: Send out feelings of love and kindness first to oneself and then to others.

  • Affirmations: Repeat positive statements to oneself in order to instill a sense of self-empowerment and to reframe negative thought patterns.

Decide how long you want your session to be. For beginners, 5-10 minutes is do-able. As you get more comfortable, you can stay in a meditation for up to 60 minutes with Vital.


Please note, we are working on an issue where the spoken words only play for about seven to nine minutes maximum. But music will still continue to play if you like a longer meditation.
